Using Stowberry

Stowberry is a tool for organizing freezer inventory. You are responsible for the information you enter, keeping access to your device secure and using the service lawfully. Do not attempt to access another household’s data, interfere with the service or upload content you have no right to use.

Food reminders are organizational prompts. Stowberry does not determine whether food is safe to eat and is not a substitute for food-safety, medical or allergy advice.

Your inventory belongs to you

You retain rights to the food records, notes and photos you add. You allow us and our service providers to store and process that content only as needed to provide, protect and support the features you choose. Shared household content becomes visible to its authorized members.

Keep your own backups of information important to you. Sync is not a promise of permanent archival storage. Copies already downloaded, exported or backed up by another member cannot be remotely erased.

Free and Plus

The free app includes one freezer, unlimited food and batches, and everyday inventory tools. Plus adds multiple freezers, household collaboration and additional organization features. Photo storage limits apply separately from food-count limits.

US prices are $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year. Your App Store purchase screen controls the actual price, billing period, applicable taxes, trial eligibility and renewal details. A 14-day annual introductory trial is available to eligible accounts only.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple. To manage or cancel, open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewal; verified access normally continues through the paid period, subject to Apple’s purchase status. App or account deletion does not cancel a subscription. Apple handles purchase and refund requests under its rules.

If Plus expires, existing inventory and export remain available. Extra freezers can be read and corrected, while new stock uses one primary freezer. Household collaboration pauses. Invited members do not receive ownership of the sponsoring person’s subscription.

Shared content and safety

Do not share abusive, threatening, sexual, discriminatory or unlawful content. Shared text is checked for a limited set of prohibited language. Household photos require human approval before other members can view them. Personal photos are not sent for household approval.

Use Household → Household safety to report content or a member. Reports are reviewed by the publisher. Blocking ends sharing with that household and prevents new shared access with the blocked account. If you own the household, blocking closes it for all members; the app explains this before you confirm. A clearly labeled recovery copy preserves available inventory on your device. Unblocking does not restore membership.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app reliable, but outages, device failures and sync conflicts can occur. Some features require a network connection or an account. We may change the service, correct defects or set reasonable storage and abuse-prevention limits. Material changes affecting how you use a paid feature should be explained before they take effect where practical.

We may restrict access when necessary to address unlawful use, security incidents or misuse of the service. Nothing here removes consumer rights that apply to you or excludes liability where the law does not allow it.

The app uses Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement alongside these service terms. Apple’s purchase terms also apply. Our privacy notice describes our data handling.
